Bale es una pequeña localidad de Croacia que se caracteriza por sus paisajes naturales y por sus sitios históricos y patrimoniales. Ésta publicación es resultado de un encargo que el municipio le hizo a Studio 3LHD para hacer un análisis territorial de la península de Istria (donde se ubica Bale) en donde se pueda desarrollar un proyecto de turismo en toda su costa -450 hectáreas- que respete el medioambiente y que sea público. El objetivo principal del plan es que se realicen actividades que muestren la arquitectura de la ciudad y que se ajusten al contexto cultural y ambiental de Bale, para que este formato de turismo amigable con el medioambiente se pueda replicar en otras ciudades.
